When he goes to Khorshid Bey's house, he is surprised that he is not dead and threatens him with a gun. Wahid pulls out his gun and kills his lover's husband. In front of the police, he tells the story, that he has known Fatima for a long time when she almost committed suicide, but Dr. Wahid gave her hope and asked her to marry him.
