A drama set in the summer of 1943 in the Moravian village of Lakotice, where farmer Baran flees from the Gestapo. The village is gripped by fear of the local informer Sekal, who has already denounced two farm owners and received their property in return, while they were sent to concentration camps and killed. The bastard is now the biggest farmer in the village and makes it clear that two farms are not enough for him...
