Factory owner Nazmi Bey commits suicide because he cannot bear the shame of bankruptcy. His daughter Oya has no idea about the bankruptcy until that moment. She is suddenly left destitute. Before his death, Nazmi Bey makes a will stipulating that Oya marry his nephew Bülent. However, the young man decides not to marry Oya, who is now penniless after her father's death. Oya meets Demir, a car mechanic, when her car breaks down. But she is unaware of Demir's interest in her. Demir is determined to take Oya, who is now alone and penniless, under his wing.
