He has lost his wife, his job, he has no contact with his family. His neighbour Laco, a peculiar taxi driver, becomes his guide through life. However, their trips usually end in fiasco. Vojtech wants to live a normal life, but his inability to face the hectic modern times brings many comedy plots. He cannot enjoy the company of easy women, his daily attempts at alcoholic intoxication and advice on how to pick up a woman also end in disaster. However, he doesn't give up and believes that he will break his bad luck.
